What appears on a town model

Buildings from their real OpenStreetMap footprints, roads and paths, water areas and streams, forests, railways and, for smaller areas, trees. Any feature can be switched off. Heights of buildings without a value in the map are estimated; towers have a simplified shape so they print without supports.

A smaller area keeps more detail

For a square or a few streets choose an area of 500 m to 2 km. At the same print size the houses will be larger than on a model of the whole town. Dimensions and scale are shown right in the 3D preview. Small structures adapt to the chosen nozzle, for example 0.4 mm, or can be left out.

Colours and text

Choose 1 to 11 colours and the thickness of the colour layer, and add the town name as text on the front edge or on the surface of the model. Signed-in users can save their colours as a theme.

Prague, Zlín or Luhačovice as a starting point

The gallery of towns and landscapes has preset areas. Open any of them and change the extent, colours and size. The STL and colour 3MF download for free without an account.
